Legal Secretary Courses
with OTC

There are numerous training providers now offering Legal Secretary Courses which can create confusion.  Confusion arises with names such as  Institute, Association, or being referred to as Accreditation Body, Professional Body, Governing Body et al.  They may in fact be training providers.

Training Providers are independent providers of further education.

Accreditation, Professional and Governing bodies must not operate as such while delivering their own courses directly or indirectly through an associated 'training arm', 'training partners' or 'training division'.  Accreditation, Professional and Governing bodies must be impartial - must not show favouritism, partiality, preference or promote their own training, or promote any individual training provider above others as this is a Conflict of Interest or in extreme cases Misrepresentation.

If you have secretarial skills, fast track your career and become a Legal Secretary with OTC. If you need a Refresher Legal Secretary Course to return to work, study with OTC.

In 1988, we developed and introduced Legal Secretary Courses to the City of London, UK which have since become widespread and so very popular, making OTC the place for legal secretary training!

Our Conveyancing Course covers the Law Society's Conveyancing Protocol. With over 30 years experience training legal secretaries and paralegals, we remain at the core for law course training. Study with OTC and qualify with a recognised Legal Secretary Diploma or a Legal Secretary Certificate in Litigation, Conveyancing, Wills and Probate.

Students can select Module 1, or Module 2, or Module 3 or Module 4.

Our Legal Secretary Conversion Courses provide legal knowledge and legal practise skills necessary to carry out searches, make court applications, complete relevant search forms and procedures.

You are given practical legal skills training to work as a Legal Secretary within Conveyancing, Criminal Litigation, Civil Litigation and Wills and Probate. Law covers several aspects and we offer the most popular areas within the legal sector either as a Single Module or Combined Modules.

Law Firms are departmentalised and Legal Secretaries can specialise in one or two areas of law without having to complete surplus subjects at once!

Legal Document Production and Legal Audio Transcription give you additional practise skills to engross legal documents and type legal dictation.

Professional Membership is available with the Institute of Paralegals which sets National Competency Standards for both Paralegals and Legal Secretaries in the UK and overseas.

Our Minimum Estimated Study Time for Modules 1, 2 and 4 is 5 weeks each and Module 3, 10 weeks, based on 2 hours study per week.
